Kraken and Sea Monster Events
Overview
Krakens and other sea monsters are cooperative PvE events in Sea of Conquest where players team up to defeat powerful bosses for rare rewards. These events are a key part of the daily routine and provide Honor points, rare equipment, and other valuable resources.
Kraken Core Mechanics
Team size: 4 players Combat duration: 20 minutes per run Difficulty levels: Multiple tiers (exact tier numbers Please verify with current version)
Process: # Find an active Kraken on the world map or coordinate with Gang members to locate one. # Join with up to 3 other Gang members. # Fire cannons at the tentacles — 2–4 well-placed cannon shots will submerge a tentacle. Exact hit count depends on game version and difficulty # If defeated, the team can resupply and revive before continuing the fight. # Higher Kraken levels yield better rewards.
Kraken Token System
Players receive a limited number of Kraken tokens per day (up to 5–6 Verify exact daily limit with current version):
- Tokens can be banked: simply do not redeem them.
- If a stronger Kraken appears in 1–2 days, it is worth saving tokens for the higher-tier boss.
- Other Gang members' Krakens: always help, even after reaching your own daily limit. The joint attack benefits everyone.
Legendary Equipment
From Kraken level 12 unconfirmed onward, legendary equipment items can drop. This is one of the few reliable sources of legendary ship parts for free-to-play players.
Other Sea Monsters
Beyond the Kraken, other sea monsters appear on the world map:
- Ghost Ships: Can be defeated up to 5 times per day. Rewards go to the Top 3 participants — even after the main reward pool is exhausted, the Top 3 still receive quality items.
- Armed Frigates and NPC Ships: Sinking certain NPC ships consumes Stamina. Stamina regenerates automatically; there is no way to increase the maximum cap. unconfirmed
- Squad Raids: Similar to Kraken events but targeting different enemies. Always help Gang members even after hitting your own daily limit.
Coordination and Strategy
General tips for sea monster events:
- Play aggressively early and coordinate as a team — sea monsters have large health pools.
- Use crew members and allies to distract and distribute damage.
- For Ghost Ships: split into groups of 3 so each group can earn its own Top 3 rewards.
- Save Kraken tokens for stronger bosses if a higher-tier Kraken is expected soon.
Daily Structure
| Activity | Daily Limit | Main Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Kraken (own tokens) | 5–6 tokens unconfirmed | Honor, equipment, possibly Legendary |
| Help Gang members with Krakens | Unlimited | Minor rewards |
| Ghost Ships | 5× per day unconfirmed | Items, resources |
| Squad Raids | Limited daily cap unconfirmed | Honor, resources |
Tips
- Never waste Kraken tokens — if a stronger Kraken is incoming, wait.
- Always attack alongside Gang members — solo attacks yield significantly worse results.
- For Ghost Ships, position a ship far from the main group early to secure a Top 3 placement.
- Consistently target higher-level Krakens — Level 12 Krakens are the primary source of legendary equipment.
